If you want to prevent users from accessing files that may contain malicious code, change a setting in the ConfigService.properties file that allows only users who created or deployed the files to have access to them in their HOME directory in the content store. When you restrict access, after a user creates and deploys a file to the content store, only that user will have access to it. Other users will not be able to access the file.
To restrict access to the content store so that only users can access their own files, do the following steps:
- Locate ConfigService.properties in MashupCenter_install_root\\mm\\config directory, and find the following string:
com.ibm.mashups.webdav.limit.public.folders = false
- Replace the false value with true.
- Save your changes.
- Run the following command on the Mashup Center server:
- Restart the server.
Now, the only files that are available to users in the content store are the ones they deployed themselves.
