Before you begin
To configure DB2 for MashupHub, see Migrating the MashupHub catalog database
Before starting to configure DB2 for Lotus Mashups, first make sure that you have completed the following prerequisites:
- Install Mashup Center. For instructions, see ../com.ibm.help.mashups.intro.doc/mash_intro_plan_install.html.
- Install DB2, and make sure that it is available before starting the Lotus Mashups configuration process. For more information about installing DB2, see the DB2 Information Center.
- During the DB2 installation process, create a database administrative user. This user will have all the necessary administrative rights required to make updates to the database.

This topic describes the steps required to configure DB2 when it resides on the same machine as Lotus Mashups.
