IBM® ECM Widgets is a set of widgets that enables you to create applications that combine Enterprise Content Management (ECM) functionality with business process management (BPM) functionality.
IBM ECM Widgets also enables you to create applications that allow users to work with content from IBM FileNet® P8 content servers and IBM Content Manager Enterprise Edition content servers.
Use this information if you need to create an application that uses the widgets that are provided with IBM ECM Widgets or if you need to integrate custom widgets with your IBM ECM Widgets application.
You should be familiar with one or more of the following operating systems:
To create an application with IBM ECM Widgets, you must be familiar with the following applications:
- WebSphere® Application Server or WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment
IBM ECM Widgets can be deployed on either WebSphere Application Server or WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment. However, the version of WebSphere Application Server that you can use depends on the mashup environment that you use.
- A mashup environment, specifically Business Space powered by WebSphere or IBM Lotus® Mashups
You can use either Business Space powered by WebSphere or IBM Lotus Mashups to assemble, wire, and share your IBM ECM Widgets application.
