You can use the In-basket widget to view the in-baskets and work items that are associated with your role.
The In-basket widget contains a separate tab for each in-basket that is associated with your role. The number of work items in an in-basket is displayed on the tab next to the in-basket name. Depending on the number of work items and the in-basket configuration, the tab might contain multiple pages.
You can double-click work items to open them. The information that is displayed for each work item in the in-basket depends on how the in-basket was configured in Process Designer or Process Configuration Console.
If filtering is enabled for the in-basket, click Filter
to enter conditions to filter work items. As you enter the conditions, remember:
- The conditions are case sensitive.
- If you exceed the maximum length of a string data field, you will get a message stating that the In-basket widget cannot get the queue elements.
- The number of items shown reflects the total number of work items in the in-basket and not the number of filtered work items.
If sorting is enabled for the in-basket, you can sort the work items by clicking on the column heading. The work items are sorted in ascending order. An arrow appears in the column heading to indicate that work items are sorted by the selected column.
If you own the page that the In-basket widget is on or have permission to edit the page, you can configure the widget.
