Contents: Planning, installing, and configuring Mashup Center : Mashup Center 2.0
The following topics provide an overview of upgrading and migrating data to Mashup Center 2.0 from version 220.127.116.11. They also include a summary of the artifacts that get migrated during the upgrading process, known issues, prerequisites, and the steps for upgrading.
When you upgrade to Mashup Center 2.0, the following artifacts get migrated in the process:
- Security settings
- Data sources
- Configuration settings
- Global page data
Also, during the upgrade process, several internal formatting and structural changes occur that require updates for existing data. The upgrading process attempts to update all of this data so that the new release of Mashup Center functions properly, however, we recommend that you test your custom pages and widgets to confirm that they work as expected.
When you upgrade to Mashup Center 2.0 from version 18.104.22.168, you do not need to uninstall the earlier version first. The two versions of Mashup Center can reside on the same machine without conflict. When the two versions of Mashup Center co-exist on the same machine, they each use their own version of WebSphere Application Server, including their own set of ports. When using Microsoft®
, you can see which ports are being used by WebSphere Application Server by clicking Start
-> IBM Mashup Center v2.0
and viewing the shortcuts. Data between the two versions is also kept separate.
