Create a JAR file for the UDF classes and dependent classes.
UDF classes are loaded by a custom UDF class loader, which is created for every UDF package that you install. You do not need to specify a class path; all UDF JAR files in the package /lib
directory are searched. The UDF class loader attempts to load classes from the UDF JAR files first, except if a class that is referred to is a Java™ base class from the Java package. If a class is not found in the UDF JAR files by the UDF class loader, the parent class loader is used. The parent class loader for the UDF class loader is the class loader that loads the data mashup builder.
Put the classes and dependant classes for your UDFs in the package in JAR files in the /lib
If the UDF classes refer to XML parser classes, you do not need to include the xml parser jars in the /lib
directory. The XML parser classes are loaded by the parent class loader if there are no XML parser jar files in the UDF package /lib
