The operating system hosts
file must contain the fully qualified host name for the MashupHub server.
The fully qualified host name is the host name combined with the domain name. For example, if the host name is system1
and the domain is mydomain.com
, the fully qualified host name is system1.mydomain.com
If the hosts
file does not have the correct mapping for the localhost, localhost
will appear in the objects' URLs and the objects might fail to load or display. Following is an example of a catalog object URL with localhost
as the hostname:
To correct this problem, update the mappings in the operating system's etc/hosts
file. For example:
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
188.8.131.52 system1.mydomain.com system1
is mapped to its own IP address: 184.108.40.206.
