See the following topics to learn how to install Mashup Center 3.0:
The Mashup Center 3.0 installer does not support installing onto an existing version of WebSphere Application Server. The installer always installs a separate WebSphere Application Server with Mashup Center. The installer is programmed to detect an existing WebSphere Application Server and select unique ports for the new instance, so having another server already running does not interfere with Mashup Center. Mashup Center also has a relatively small memory footprint. Therefore, having the second server does not add much additional memory overhead.
In addition, WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment may be used for building Mashup Center clusters, but not for managing single federated nodes.
