This forum is for the Lotus Mobile Connect (LMC) product, a separate product that optionally may be used with Lotus Notes Traveler.
I would strongly recommend putting out a post in the Lotus Notes Domino 8.5 forum. Be sure to include "Lotus Notes Traveler" in your subject posting to get the quickest response:

Per your specific inquiry when you post in the new forum, are you looking for this to only selectively apply this behavior to Traveler devices, or, all clients that connect to the Domino server?
