I have just tried installing LMC on Windows 2003 x86 R2 and I can't get the Connection Manage to fire up. I followed the installation steps and it install the Connect Manager and it also installed the Gatekeeper. Once the install finishes, without fault, I launch gatekeeper and try to connect to local host. This fails, even though I’m using the correct credentials. On further investigation Connect Manage is not listening on the correct ports 9555 or 9559 (for SSL) so the Gatekeeper cannot connect. This is a fresh build server (Done this twice) and Haven’t begun to configure because the Connection Manger fails. The Event Viewer is full of errors, ever 30 seconds. The error is the same :
Faulting application wgated.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module wgated.exe, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x002fa343.
I turned driver signature checking off complete for the second build attempt. This didn’t change anything, apart from not having to say accept to the unsigned driver prompt.
Any ideas would be gratefully accepted. What log files or logging switches can I tinker with ?
