RE: Retrieve all archive IDs from CommonStore back-end DB2 storage Brien Halstead 8.Mar.12 07:38 PM a Web browser General All ReleasesAll Platforms
I know that the ID stored in the CSNDArchiveID item in the documents that have been archived consists of a "composite" value, starting with the <archive name>#DOCID#<item ID>#COMPID#<component ID>#PID#<Part ID>.
I've familiarized myself with most of the tables in the Content Manager (CM) system, and I think I know where the table with the item IDs is (ICMSTITEMS001001), and the component ID tables (based on a component type, i.e. ICMUTnnnnnsss, where "nnnnn" is the component type and "sss" is the semantic or segment ID).
With the above knowledge/information, I'm trying to build a list of ALL CSNDArchiveID values for all archived documents that exist in the CM-DB2 database.
I'm trying to discover the relationship of item IDs to component IDs and I think that the item IDs represent individual documents or records of a certain type that can have 1 or more component IDs associated with it. Is this correct? I'm still not sure of the PID portion, but it seems that part of it contains the component type.
Please, if anyone has any experience with this, or knows of a good resource or online community for this (besides the existing IBM documentation, which isn't that helpful), please let me know.
