I've got a lot of JSP experience and 11 years of Notes/Domino. My two biggest beefs with Domino web development are:
- Table cell attributes...why can't we still after all this time just override the width tag...at least!
- Database launch attributes...why not simiar to the element picker for hotspots and the like?
Yeah, I know for #1 I can use CSS and override the width (at least I think I can...I just thought about it) and for #2 I can launch a page with a re-direct, but it's not the same. I shouldn't have to be a guru to do this. @WebDbName and @UrlQueryString a two great simple things that make life easier for developers...and I hope IBM keeps the momentum going with attention to these types of details.
I guess another beef would be better controls over view rendering...including categorized views. (without having to resort to CSS and/or treat as html).
