RE: Programmable Tables R5 vs R6

For each editable field, I am having a display field too in my application. Hence my document even though always open in edit mode, users with limited access acn view the display field information and cannot edit. If anyone try to save from menu, I am displaying a message from QuerySave.

As my document always opens in edit mode, there is no issue of switching Tabs.

I read in a Tech Note of this forum, once that, in read mode it may be difficult to switch Tabs. Hence removing the Table name field while opening document in read mode, helps users to switch Tabs. But in your case you are saying this is not working. Isn't it? Can you make a new local database copy of this particular piece (form and 1 test document) and send it to me to booksol@yahoo.com. I will take a look at this.
