Notes Client 6.0.1 All Platforms

We've just got our very first Domino 6 test server set up, and are trying to get our heads around the roaming users feature.

I've set myself as a roaming user on the server, and have succesfully logged in at my two machines (one PC one, OS X Macintosh) and had my local NAB and bookmarks replicate between them, via the roaming server. Tres bon!

However, the two machines are, as I said, my own machines. That's to say that they both had my local NAB and Notes ID file already on them. So, how do I login in if neither of those files are present?

My (rather limited) understanding of this is that the Notes ID file is stored in the local NAB on the roaming server (yes, I ticked the option for it to be stored therein). So, isn't the theory that it gets pulled down with the local NAB, after I login. But with no ID file present on the client to start with, which ought to be the case if you've set the cleanup options, how exactly do I login?

I tried deleting my ID file to see if Notes would do some kind of new server lookup thingie to get it, but it didn't. It just prompts me for the location of my ID file.

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers,

- Mike
