How to SORT the result data after db.search Andre Guirard 18.Feb.06 09:40 AM Lotus Notes Notes Client 6.5All Platforms
There's not a shortcut for sorting db.search results; you will need to write a little function to reorder the list. You can't sort them while they're in the NotesDocumentCollection. You'll have to copy them into an array or other data structure that you can reorder. Then, use any of the usual sorting algorithms, such as quicksort, to sort the array.
Depending what the search is, you might be able to do it faster using GetAllEntriesByKey and the results would already be sorted. But you didn't say what your search was, so I can't say for sure.
