Notes/Domino 6 and 7 Forum : More info: Network Packet trace

I used Ethereal to trace the outbound packets from my client to the server, both when things worked correctly, and (30 minutes later) when the timeouts occurred. Anyone an expert at decypering these?

Notice that in the Good session the client first sends a packet with the [SYN] flag, whereas in the Bad session, the client first sends a packet with the [PSH, ACK] flags. This says to me that the client is trying to reconnect an existing session, which then times out and forces it to try a [TCP Retransmission].

Also, Packets 7-10 in the Bad session match up perfectly (expect for the port number) with packets 1-4 of the Good session.

Any further thoughts?
