Narasimhan, I almost understand your last few paras...not quite. However, it would make sense. Although I am still confused as to how it worked beautifully in R5 (and I dbl checked doc properties...there were no add'l computed fields). OK. So based on what you wrote, I performed an experiment. I put this in my computed field (@If(!@IsNewDoc;"Approvals";"Basics") and took out the last line of my code (@SetField("$APPROVER"; @DeleteField) (I put this last line in because the code I got from some site on Lotus Notes indicated you needed to add this line in in order to "clear" the memory).
I can open a new doc and form opens to Basics (good); I can open a previously created doc and the form opens to Approvals (good); However, that is all I can do. It won't let me jump to another tab while I am in the doc. It is like I need to refresh.
Do I need to put a refresh code in the QueryOpen? If so, unfortunately, when I put Call Source.Refresh under this code I already have:
Set Session = New NotesSession
Set w = New NotesUIWorkspace
Set uidoc = Source
Set doc = Source.document
it gives me an error msg--Property or method is not available during QueryOpen - Refresh.
Of do I need to create yet another computed field for the other two tabs (Facts/Summary)? If so, what would the code read?
