RE: How can I have the body of the e-mail be above the signature? K O 30.Jul.08 09:43 AM a Web browser Notes Client 6.5Windows XP
Ok. My scenario is this. I have a CRM database with many forms. On one of these forms (Contact), I have a button in the button bar that has 2 lines of formula code:
@Command([Compose]; @MailDbName; "EmailOptOut")
In the R6 Mail template, I have copied the Memo form and pasted it as a new form (EmailOptOout).
In the new form, SendTo inherits the field Email, Subject inherits CompanyName. I have added some basic text to the Body and a file attachment in the form that I want populated in the email each time. I haven't made any other changes to the EmailOptOut form.
The user will then have the ability to add or subtract whatever text they want after they click the button from the Contact form.
Does this make sense? If I'm going about this the wrong way, or the hard way, please let me know how I should be doing it. But you'll have to be very descriptive. :)
