RE: What is your end goal?

Vadim -- the problem here is that an <a href='http:...> tag generates an HTTP GET operation. In a GET, the data from your textarea is not sent up to the server. You need to change your HTML so that it does a POST. The conventional way of doing that is to create a <form name="myform" action= > tag with action specifying the URL for your agent (with the &docid= etc.). Then, your <a> tag needs to submit that form, probably via something like href='javascript:document.getElementByName("myform").submit'. (Sorry, my syntax is probably not quite right here. Please look it up in a good JavaScript reference.)

Once you are generating a true POST, what you will need to do is use docA.Request_Content(0) to get the data from your textarea. You are going to have to parse the data out, because Request_Content(0) will contain the value "discussion=user input goes here". And if there are other HTML fields in between your <form> and </form> tags, there may be other name=value pairs separated by '&' characters. I.e., you might have to parse it out of something like this: "foo=111&discussion=stuff&bar=222".
