Yes, I know that 2908MB is a huge index, but the database is even worse, around 36GB give or take. I just inherited this. There are no other major dbs on the server. The FT has to be deleted and re-created at least one to two times a week on every server that the db resides on. (Takes hours) I have told the developers that there are too many views, but right now that cannot be resolved. Does anyone know if there is a way to keep these FT's from going bad so quickly? Any advice would be appreciated.
