Pretty much Ed's blog says it all. A great piece that can be used for presentation to management.
Part of the challenge is Microsoft centric companies/consultants tend to position Workplace as canablizing Domino, which we all know not to be the case. The pitch is made to the IT director, CFO, or some decision making group that is dettached from the day to day messaging, application, eBusiness ROI that Domino delivers. I recently went through this with a client who is "considering" Exchange/.NET. The point that always comes up is "see what IBM is doing, they are replacing Domino with Workplace." To the naked eye it *could be perceived* as this.
Probably the best elevator description on Notes relative to Workplace is by Stan Rogers here:
Definitely made me feel good reading it.
