We are having an odd issue with one of our domino servers running 7:01 - this only began a few weeks back but seems to be now occurring several times a day
SYMPTOMS
Without any warning (and system resources OK) the domino server stops accepting connections on 1352 (I can remote in and see the firewall allowing the 1352 connections in) but domino is not answering their call. Even stranger is while sitting at the server and opening the lotus notes client (on the server) I can not even do a control-O - it says it can not reach the remote server.
Yet I can see domino running right in front of me as mail is routed - just no new OPENED SESSION lines for the 200 plus users (whom connect to the server via the internet to our static IP) - again I am sure the firewall is OK (I have administered this server for over 11 years so no her pretty good)
FYI - we do have a couple of large databases though (one is 4 gigs the other is nearly 40 gigs) and we are expensing very long consistency checks - could these be accounting for bumping our users off 1352?
Really appreciate any feedback or advise you can give
I have enable transaction logging on the domino server config document
I have also altered the domino server window to not have Quick Edit Mode and Insert Mode enabled

PS try to do drop users (as sh ta shows 40 plus users connected even though 1352 has frozen) but no joy - only a reboot fixes and only for a while - could this be a Max user session/count issue?
