We are doing some tests on a cross-domain configuration. Everything is in place. Configuration documents (inbound-Outbound) are in place in the admin4. It's working for the majority of our domain (8 out of 10).
CA process is used.
We have components (C1, C2 and C3). In each components, we have a dedicated hub server. Every access are managed by passthru connections.
For one domain, they cannot rename a user to their own domain. For example, if they receive a user from component C1, they will try to change the certificate to put their own. In fact, the rename action is triggered. The request 'name move request' appears in admin4 db, it is approved by the admin.
But after that, nothing else even if the user connect himself to his home mail server.
What I've done so far:
The servers have manager access (Direct access or via the LocalDomainServers) and all the roles in :
The certlog.nsf db exist on all the servers (CA Process, Admin server, mail servers)
I've done a Tell CA resfresh and Tell CA Status.
As a precaution, I've stopped the task CA. Relaunched it.
Did another time the CA Tell commands . No error detected.
I've done a test. A user form domain X was put in the names.nsf of the problematic domain. I was able to rename it to a third domain. The rename has worked.
So I conclude that the configuration is OK except for that domain if I try to use the certificate of that specific domain.
So I've destroyed all the queries in the admin4 and reprocess them again. I've had the message 'succeeded', but subsequent requests are not generated.
Requests for renaming the domain always fail. I've tried to just a rename a user in the same domani and it doesn't work.
The request 'name move request' appears in admin4 db, it is approved by
me. It is processed without error.
But the request 'initiate rename in Domino Directory' is never launched. This request must appear when the user connects to the server.
From what I see, even after multiple connection-disconnection\closing og the notes clientm the rename user never sends requests acceptance of the change of names. What I suspect is that the Notes client does not even know it was assigned a new name. There are no other fields between AdminPOldxxx appointed in his person document. The modification date of
the Person document never changed.
I've added this parameter : DEBUG_ADMINP_REQUEST_PROCESSING=2
Nothing appears when my user connect to the server, only message like Update client
I've added the client_Clock debug parameter on my computer, still nothing.
I've tried on 3 different computers, 4 version of Notes.
