Remove Desktop Policy setting

We had created a Corporate Desktop Policy and need to change one of the settings. The change doesn't seem to apply automatically to all users.

We had made an entry for "Domino Directory server".
Now need that entry to be empty (blank) for all end users. We have removed the entry from the Desktop Policy document.

Is there a way to force the removal of the previous entry in the end user location documents?
