Inbox isn't a default view

I have a custom mail template, based on stdr6mail template. Folder ($Inbox) is a default view in that template. But mail files that uses this template dont have a default view(there is inbox folder, but without def. view flag). Dont know why this happens. All new mails are going to inbox, and when user open his mail file, it open inbox folder, but background agents, when trying to append doc link says "Couldn't get default View id for database".
