Rendell Whitehead 10.Oct.07 09:32 AM a Web browser Notes Client7.0.2 FP2Windows 2000; Windows 98
Ok, I'm the ID-10-T I admit it, I know I'm the Ultimate Newb... That said. I know I have a massive security issue, I need help with immediately. As stated with every post, I'm 1 month to the day into a Domino server that is currently only running POP,SMTP,HTTP, & Webadmin Server. It is an enterprise install because we are planning more apps on it in the future. With my experience in MS, and Novell networking, and servers does not mean anything in the Lotus Domino realm.
Now to my problem. I started with the POP so I could snap over to the Domino and be up and running with minimal client visibility, at the workstations. All was fine, until I needed to install Notes client on one of my Departments for Mass Email issue reasons. Anyway, I installed then noticed that these clients could pull up any ones email. Massive problem. It's got to be a ACL issue, and I think I've checked every setting. Here's how every user in my Domain ACL is set.
Item User type Access
-Default- Unspecified Editor (all checks)
Anonymous Unspecified No Access (Replicate)
(Full Access Person Manager (All Checks)
Admin Name)
(Servername Server Manager (All Checks)
/Domain Name)
LocalDomain- Server Group Manager (All Checks)
Servers
OtherDomain- Server Group No Access (Replicate)
Servers
Username Person Editor (all checks,
/Domain Except Create Private agents and
Creat LotusScript/Jave Agents
That's what I got. Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance.
