Dear All,
I have a client whose mail file is still on template version 6.
We have only 1 server (mainserver) who delivers mail to foreign smtp domain; other servers (serverx) are found in different location. The user accesses serverx at his office and any mail sent transit through the mainserver.
The user is also a blackberry user and in the address book his mail server is mainserver. There is a replication between mainserver and serverx.
The user received an email from someone outside the company i.e., @xxx.com. When the user replied, his internet address was also added to the cc field. The user was thus sending mail (reply) through serverx and it got delivered on his mail file on mainserver. The mail received on the mainserver was then replicated to serverx.
The problem is that the user cannot find the document in his Sent view. The user only has the document he received from the contact and the reply he did in inbox since his email address was also in cc field.
Is this normal? The user replied twice to the contact on the same date and same thing happened.
The issue here is that the user is suspecting that someone else accessed his mail and deleted the document in the sent item.
Please help me out, any explanation most welcomed.
