Hi there!
I have recognized some performance issues under Solaris and AIX. I am not sure if this is a misconfiguration or if Domino makes a poor show on UNIX.
So to all of you guys out there, I ask you for a short experiment.
Create a simple agent which creates 100.000 documents with a time stamp in it. Let this agent run scheduled on the server.
Now take this agent and let it run on a Windows box.
On my windows (several different servers) this agent takes about 7 to 8 minutes to create the docs.
On my AIX this agent aborted after 10 minutes (agent manager restrictions) ending up with simply 19.000 docs.
I would really be interested if you have simular results.
