I'm very new to Notes Administration so bear this in mind when trying to answer the following questions!
We had an error in one of our servers event logs in relation to the agent manager. I thought it would be best to stop and restart the agent manager. I used the 'server console' in Domino Administrator (we don't have access to either Windows or the physical boxes). I used the command 'tell amgr quit' which seemed to work ok.
I then tried to restart the agent manager by issuing the command 'tell amgr resume' but it comes back with an error 'the AMGR task either does not exist or does not accept "Tell" commands'. Is there any other way I can resume the agent manager? I was thinking of restarting Domino (not Windows), so would I just issue the command 'restart server' and make sure all users are logged off?
