Domino Server 6.0.3 Windows 2003

Hi:

We're running a Lotus Domino Server Release 6.0.3 on Windows Server 2003. Usually about once a week the Domino HTTP Server hangs. When I do a netstat -an on the server I see that there is an abnormally large (1000) amount of connections from one IP address (not always the same IP). Here is a sample of the netstat command. Note that this is only several lines and that there would be close to 1000 connections from this IP:

TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1027 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1028 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1029 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1030 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1031 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1032 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1033 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1034 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1035 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1036 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1037 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1038 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1039 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1040 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1041 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1042 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1043 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1044 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1045 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1046 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1047 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1048 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1049 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1050 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1051 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1052 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1053 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1054 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1055 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1056 ESTABLISHED
TCP Server IP:443 70.31.15.xxx:1057 ESTABLISHED

I don't see anything in log.nsf that would pertain to this, Domino HTTP just stops responding. Sometimes HTTP comes back by itself after several minutes, sometimes I intervene and restart HTTP.

I've played around with the Windows "MaxUserPort" and TCPTimedWaitDelay Registry Settings, but that hasn't resolved the issue.

So, A few questions that I have are:

Has anyone else experienced this?
What might cause this to happen?
Would anyone know of a resolution for this?

Thanks in advance...

Fred
