I currently have a database that takes data row by row from a spreadsheet and sends it to other people. 1 row = 1 person. My problem is when I send it to someone, that person should not be able to edit the date I sent. My question is, is that possible knowing that the person most likely have manager access in his/her mailbox? Im trying to create a form in my database that has a controlled access section with an unusual-naming role in hopes that noone has a mailbox with that role to prohibit editing. but will that actually work? i have been tring to do this with no avail. simply inheriting the data to the mail wont prohibit editing since like i said, the person receiving will have manager access in the mailbox. can anyone confirm if the direction im taking will actually work? has anyone done a similar task before?
