We ran a name change on a user, changing their surname after they got married.
We used the admin client and the adminp process to do this.
The rename went fine and completed, with no errors in the admin process database.
The users Short Name stayed the same and their entry in the Domino Directory has ther new User Name as well as their old User Name, as we'd expect.
However if a user types the Short ID of the user who's surname was changed, into an email, the Notes client looks up the Short Name, but displays the OLD user name, not the new one.
All address books have replicated correctly and the user can be emailed correctly by entering their full new name in an email.
Any ideas how we get the Notes client to use the new name and not the old one when entering the short name?
