I have a database where I'm using @Prompt([LocalBrowse]) to have the user locate a file. Then I take the result of @Prompt and set a field to that value. Problem is, I need to have the UNC path not the drive mapping. I'm very much a beginner to LS and VBA and I've been browsing this forum a lot to self-teach. I don't know where to begin to try to convert the selected drive mapping and file to the UNC. I have access to some VBA that is being used in an Access database to do this but don't know how to translate it into script. Has anyone had to do something similar…..can someone point me in the right direction? Please remember…I'm still at the "lotus script for dummies stage…."
