The search feature in Notes allowed our users (in a view) to enter a string of partial characters (this happens to be a VIN) and get a match. Someone took it upon themselves to break the search feature with the promise it would speed up the database. The database does not run any faster and now the users are upset that they can only search with the FIRST characters of the VIN. Now the developer who broke the search is gone and I am supposed to return the search to normal.

I've done some searching and haven't found the right thing. Someone verbally mentioned a table, but where? I need to find it. Some help please?

Thank you!
