I'm working on a database that will be used to track work being carried out as part of a project. The work is divided into tasks, risks and issues. I've set up one form to hold the information for each. The common fields are tabulated at the top of the form, and the type-specific fields appear in the relevant row of a tabbed table lower down. This latter table has four rows - one for each work type, and one to track the history of the piece of work. The type-specific tabs all have hide when formulae that hide them unless the field WRKType contains that value.
I've set up a Lotus Script action button to create a new document based on this form. It creates a new document , sets the Form and WRKType values, computes it with the form, saves it and then uses it to open a new UI document, displaying it to the user.
This part of it works just fine, but when either the "Save and Close" or "Save and Continue" buttons are clicked, the message "Notes error: You are not authorized to perform that operation" appears, and the document, once closed, is never seen again.
All the current user groups to the database (including me) have the right to create documents, so I'm at a bit of a loss. Does anyone have any clues? I can post code blocks if that would help.
