I have an individual who make frequent errors in addressing. This results in delivery failure in his mail. What he does is edit this delivery failure message and clicks the resend button.
The sent mail has attachments. The delivery failure has file/s at the bottom which I am sure are the original attachments but the names have been changed (names unrelated to original file names and only 8 characters long). So when he clicks the resend he gets an error, Error transferring to <server>; Note item not found. I assume this is the fact that the original names have been changed.
I suggested to him to delete the 8-character named files and reattach original documents as a solution, but he refuses to accept the solution saying this is a bug and that Lotus should fix it, and that if they don't he is going to go over heads. I also suggested he just edit the original in the sent folder and send that but with same reply.
Any help with this in any fashion is desparately needed.
