RE: Using NotesDocument.RenderToRTItem has an unexpected behavior with certain Controlled Access Sections

Hey Newbs,

Two things come to mind:

First, are there any ACL settings/roles, etc. that you need to grant to n2pdf (never used it, don't know) that would allow it access to those sections. I guess this would not be the issue if you can use the tool fine with the section headers visible, but the controlled access settings the same.

Second, as a workaround, you could create a special rendering of the form just for printing. In this version of the form, the section headers are visible. So your "Create PDF" action would now begin by opening up the current document using the new form (or reloading it somehow), then calling n2pdf. To avoid showing the section headers you might use a white font (assuming a white background), but you will still lose the real estate.

HTH

Kevin
