I was looking at our company's Domino Directory the other day and noticed that a server is listed twice in the ACL - once as the administration server (with key icon) and the other as a regular entry.
When I try to delete the *non-admin server entry*, it deletes the admin server entry. Then, when I go to delete the remaining entry, it gives me the error "The name is not in the list".
I have checked every replica of our Domino Directory on all servers and this error is present in all of them.
How do I go about fixing this? I am new to higher-level Domino administration (was doing lots of low-level stuff at my last company), so bear with me. I am assuming I need to make a local *copy* of the Domino Directory without the ACL, add the correct entries in the copy, shut down the Domino server, drop the copy of the DD in, and start up the server.
I am assuming I then need to repeat the process for all servers in our domain. (Luckily, we have only 10 servers).
1. Is the above process the best way to do this?
2. Should I disable replication on all replicas of the DD before starting this on any server? I assume yes.
3. I am assuming making a copy will possibly create a new replica ID. Will it do this and will this affect anything?
