I have a user with a large number of folders, who yesterday, when trying to expand the folder view, has the oddest thing happen. He clicks the + button to expand and everything above folders (and indeed the folder top level) whites out on the view. He can still store items in the folders, and access them by the View-->Go To option, but even using the view option blanks out the bottom left of the screen (folder part). This is a local replica he works on, so I tried his server copy and that too has the same view issue.
When i pull it up in a browser via iNotes, he can access the folders that way without issue.
Also, from a post I found, I did discover this user has 1596 folders (somewhat nuts), but no folder name seemed to reach the character limit of 64
I have tried the following:
Refreshed database design
Replaced database design (from local then from server)
Locally ran: Fixup -F, compact -c, updall -R, those did nothing, tried a CTL-SHFT-F9, closed database, came back in, nothing.
On the Server:
load fixup -F -N -O
Purged the 3 $Folder views
I have seen other updall and fixup options, that speak about updating the views and will try those, once I have brought down another copy of his mail file to a local computer to work on, but really looking for suggestions to help this user out.
