RE: Any old posters still on here?

I always enjoyed developing in Notes and felt it had an unfair reputation as it was good at what it was designed to do. Unfortunately any senior manager where I work would consider it to be a laughable application. They couldn't give you any valid reason why, but have been on enough conferences with people selling rival products and lambasting it, to know that it is.

I've not done any serious development in it for years, so haven't tried xpages or any new features from version 7 upwards, but any new features seem to have been too little too late, at least to change peoples perception of Lotus Notes. I remember reading articles like lotus notes is dead years ago, but if the traffic on these forums is anything to go by, if not dead, then the last rites aren't far off.
