Is there a way through an agent, or lotus script, where I can force every client to create a replica of their local address book on our primary server?
We have a number of roaming files which do not upgrade properly from notes 6.5.4 to notes 7, often requiring me to completely remove their old roaming files on the server, and create from scratch from their local workstation. Even this process often does not work, forcing me to re-register users from scratch, with a new set of files based on the latest templates.
My primary concern is having a central location, with all user address books, as we are migrating from Lotus Notes to Microsoft exchange at the end of the year. If I could force each client to create a new replica of their address book, separate to their roaming files I would be a lot more confident we have the right set of data come the time of migration. Obviously this will avoid needing to fix up every single roaming user out there who is broken.
