I'm practicing an upgrade of a 7.x server and this server uses a shared object store (the old SCOS shared attachments feature).
I copied all the files over to 8.5 and tried running
Load Object Unlink D:\SharedMail1
but get these errors:
12/19/2008 04:48:26 PM Object Store not supported as of release 8.5
12/19/2008 04:48:26 PM Object Store Manager: Process started
Unable to extend an ID table - insufficient memory. - D:\NotesData\mailobj2.nsf
Unable to extend an ID table - insufficient memory. - D:\NotesData\mailobj1.nsf
Has anyone tried this on an 8.5 migration attempt yet?
Do you have to unlink your mail store before bringing it to 8.5?
Or should you just bring up a 3rd server in the cluster as 8.5 and then replicate the mail files over to it so they come over as non-SCOS?
