Correct. Android, Windows Mobile and Nokia devices all use an IBM supplied client application. For WM and Nokia, this application provides the sync stack and adapter to the native PIM and mail applications. For Android, this application provides the sync stack and also the Mail and Calendar applications. Upgrading the server almost always delivers a new version of these client applications, containing either new features or fixes.
