Our old server machine died, and we've resurrected it on new hardware with a new OS. Things are limping along OK, and some people can replicate their databases to this server. However, the only actual account in the server's address book is the Administrator, because we lost the old address book when the server died.
I do have all the user ID files, though, and the cert.id, and the server.id, plus the Administrator.id (I used the latter three to resurrect the server with the old domain details).
I want to register the users properly now, in the address book, since we are struggling to create replicas, and some of us can't actually replicate and gain access to things the way we used to.
Can someone please point me to documentation on how to do that -- how to register users when you already have the ID files?
(All I can find is info on how to register WITHOUT using IDs at all, and on where to store ID files when you register brand new users, and that is not what I need.)
