RE: That exactly seems to be the problem

What you have is a different problem which is why you need to open a PMR. The tell command works on the Traveler internal database. The LotusTraveler.nsf is a reflection of the internal DB. What it sounds like your problem is now is that the nsf has a record that doesn't exist in the internal DB; this should be cleaned up when the server is restarted, but if it is not, then you need a PMR so we can see why the record is orphaned in the nsf.
The APAR you referenced for delete was that the tell command could not run with the old name. That IS fixed and you can run with the old name if it matches to an existing record so that you could delete that record. Otherwise, we don't know what the name is, so we look it up and run it against what we find. So, the APAR problem is fixed and you have a different nsf problem.

For legal reasons, Companion is not supported via PMRs. It doesn't ship from IBM - it comes from the Apple App Store so that it can run on the Apple iOS devices which means Apple has its own controls over that process. The Traveler server does ship from IBM, so it is supported through PMRs as usual. But there is a support channel for both - it just isn't PMRs for both.
This problem appears to be something between the server and the app, so you can open a PMR against the server so that we can collect logs and see what is happening in your case. Otherwise, we don't know what issue you are really having.
