Subject: Printing attachments injects a print of their calendar
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Functionality
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.2
Reproducible: Intermittent

I have 3 users (secretaries), all in the same office suite, who share 1 persons (an exec)calendar. Not sure if that matters.

This problem was seen after upgrading to 8.5.1 and they started using Calendar Federations (calendar overlay). I've tried upgrading to 8.5.2 but the problem persists. These 3 people are the only ones who seem to have this issue. Calendar federation is used with a lot of other users in our domain with no odd printing issues reported. We're using Notes 8.5.2 currently with Domino 8.5.2 for server. Here are some details.

The user receives an email with an attachment. Messages come from various people. Most of the attachments are .docx and .pdf files. This problem is intermittent and cannot be reproduced doing the same action that caused it (at least we cannot duplicate it from their pc). When they double click to open the attachment (in this case a pdf), they view it in Adobe Reader, then wish to print it. Somewhere Notes substitutes one of the pages with their calendar. For example, a .pdf was sent to this user, they opened the attachment and decided to print the 150 page document. 150 pages prints but one of those pages has their calendar (day format) instead. It seems to randomly take out a page from their print job an insert in their calendar. They then have to reprint that missing page, so technically that 150 page attachment only printed 149 pages of it's content plus their calendar. This occurs even with 4 page documents. It occurs randomly across all 3 users pc's.

We don't use any extensive mail policy's or anything that I can think of that would cause this for these 3 users. All of their printing preferences are normal and typically never modified. They print a lot. This happens across 2 printers they have, of which other people print to.

Can anyone shed some light on what all 3 may have that is common which causes this? The last time it occurred was over a month ago.

Thanks,
A
