Subject: IBM Domino server hogging RAM
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Domino Server
Technical Area: Administration
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.2
Reproducible: Always

Hi there,

We have a Domino 8.5.2 server running on Windows/2008 R2 (both are 64 bit).
The issue we are having is that the server RAM usage is constantly peaking.
When the Domino server starts, the RAM usage is about 40%
But as it is being used, RAM usage increases gradually until it reaches 90% and above and it stays there.
When I check the memory usage of the Domino processes on the Windows task manager, their total RAM usage is very far from the total RAM available.
Even if I consider all processes, the RAM usage is far from the total RAM available.
However, the RAM usage stays above 90%.
The server in question is not used a lot but it is an archive server and has many large NSF files.

I am suspecting that Domino at some point peaks and increases its RAM usage, but then it is not released.

Can anyone help?
