Hi,
I am writing a dll for a client, for changing the password of user. They are using ID Vault. Using SECidvResetUserPassword API call, I am able to reset password for user.
However, on client's setup, "Enforce password change after password has been reset" setting is selected as "Yes". Now, because of this after every reset password, user is asked to reset password again. Customer cannot change this setting from "Yes" to "No", because of security reason, so they want dll to override this second time reset password.
If we are resetting the password from IDVault then user should be able to login and perform operations using new password. Is it feasible to do this? If yes, what would be the set of APIs/settings through which this can be acheived.
