Can you clarify?
Do they see their mail file or a database as R6? If it is this, then you need to upgrade their database design (and upgrade folder design for mail files). See migration instructions.
If it is the UI looks like old style rather then new (Eclipse), it is possible they are running BASIC install. Install Standard instead.
