Subject Multiple home servers and remote users
We have multiple home mail servers spread out around the country, as well as 50-60 remote users who only work off local replicas and never access databases on the server.

Currently we are in the process of upgrading our servers and clients to 8.5.3FP1 from 7.0.4. I realize all need to be at 8.5.x in order for us to use ID Vault.

I have two questions:

a) once all servers and clients have been upgraded would it be best to put a replica of the ID Vault on each home mail server?

b) will the ID files of remote users who never connect directly, other than via replication, be automatically harvested once they have the policy assigned?
